Aesthetics

It is evident in the precise placement of its quilting, the use of leather that is made from by-products of cattle and sustainable-managed forests, and the ingenuous patterns of its levers. As you approach a vehicle like the Continental GT W12, its exquisite design is revealed through carefully selected lighting.
The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever designed. Its rear tonneau for example, showcased the biggest piece of dark-stained, book-matched Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to a production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.
Bentley is the most sought-after automotive brand in the world due to its distinctive design and quality. The company continues to push boundaries with the latest technology and manufacturing techniques, such as the introduction of an instrument cluster that is digital and an electric tilt-opening rear glass sunroof, an artisan-made docking station for Apple iPads, and electrochromic "smart" glass that can be changed from transparent to opaque with the push of an arrow.
A century after its creation, Bentley - now under sole Volkswagen ownership following years of wrangling with BMW - celebrated its centenary in the year 2019. Before pandemic planning took the spotlight, the marque was hosting a variety of special events and launches planned to commemorate the occasion.

Bentley estimates that it requires 500 man-hours to build and build the Mulsanne. The inability to adopt modern technology is the key to this time-consuming effort. The Crewe factory workers do not make use of a machine to create perfectly-matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. And rather than letting the car's built-in sensors guide it into perpendicular and parallel parking spots, drivers have to do it manually.
